Here's a quick photography note. As I scroll through the blog, I can definitely tell which photos are taken on my phone and which ones are taken with my "real" camera. I am kicking myself for not upgrading my phone at no cost when I could have because I know the camera is better on the newest Iphone. The quality of some of my recent photos isn't great. The photos of Henry and Maggie just below were taken around 6:45am so it wasn't very light outside so the photos look grainy and they just aren't very good quality. Ugh.... but the pups are still cute!!!!
Hank and Lula
Hank and Lula always make me laugh when I walk in the door. They both greet me at the door but then there always seems to be shock (and if I'm being honest, probably disappointment) on their faces when they see it is me and not you coming in the house. To make it up to them, I always immediately go for their food and both Hank and Lula love to eat! Lula did her laps around the island this morning and as I was preparing their breakfast. Hank patiently waited. A few minutes or maybe even seconds after I put their bowls down, Lula wanted to switch bowls so I moved Hank's under the table so he could eat uninterrupted. That seemed to work and both got the clean the bowl award. I scooped their box too but there wasn't much in it. They'd disappeared after breakfast, perhaps to take a nap since they both had full bellies. It was great to see both Hank and Lula again!
Henry and Maggie
Henry and Maggie were just great! Thank you so much for asking me to care for them while you were gone. I had to laugh at Henry. He is a messy eater but he cleans up after himself. That's a pretty good deal! They enjoyed sniffing around the yard each visit and they both took care of all of their business this morning too. I was hoping that Henry would b/c he didn't on either of the visits yesterday. After we'd hung out in the yard and came into the house, I'd immediately get what I will now forever refer to as "the kong look." haha. Both Henry and Maggie know how to give a good "kong look." I picked up on it quickly and complied with their requests!! Henry and Maggie were perfect pet sitting clients this weekend!
Midday Dog Walking
I have a lot of midday dog walking clients. I've not posted about them in awhile - I usually post about my pet sitting clients so they can check the blog and read how their pets are doing while they're away. I've started texting more of my pet sitting clients while they're away so I am not updating the blog as regularly. I miss blogging so here is my newest midday dog walking client, Lola. She is a 9-10 week old golden doodle. I believe she will stay small. She is super cute and super loving. This past week was the first week that I saw her and I guess calling this post dog walking really isn't accurate. This dog walker is really dog playing or actually puppy playing during this visit and I am loving them. I laugh a lot with Lola.
She started to warm up to me as the week went on and by Friday, she was feeling secure enough to play the whole time in her backyard. She was just adopted by her family so she has been through a lot of change this past week. I am so happy she is a part of my regular midday dog walking schedule.
photos on my blog
I met with my website developer yesterday and I asked her about the photos on my blog. I am trying to figure out how to add photos to posts in different layouts on the blog. I am practicing. It is working but I don't know what to do about the photos covering up the menu to the right. I am stumped and the blog doesn't look great at the top but if you scroll further down the page, I do like the way the photos look when they are side by side. It appears if I write enough text, then the photos don't cover up the menu but some of my blog posts aren't going to be that long. I wonder why the right side margin is different for the text and the photos.
Pictured here are Sloan and Moose. Sloan's mom was a weimeraner. I think Moose has hound in him too.... he acts like it! He reminds me of Sloan all the time not only because he is chocolate but their personalities are similar too. Wild, busy, and lap dog are all words I'd use to describe both of them.
See Spot Run Pet Photography takes on the changing fall colors
Here are some photos of the fall colors changing in my yard. I love taking pictures and I am enjoying every chance I get to do it and this time these aren't photos of any furry ones. I think my most favorite is the close up of the leaves. What are your favorite fall colors? This year mine is yellow because of this tree but I do love a deep red and orange too.
