Jay, Chloe and the pet sitter doing pet photography

Jay-25-PS

This picture of her running is from yesterday morning. It was dark outside so I had to adjust the exposure and brightness quite a bit. What I learned is that taking pictures of a moving target is tough and either my timing is bad or Jay runs with her eyes squinting a lot. :) I am sure it is my timing. This is the best picture of her with her eyes open. I'd love to get one of her with her head up and where you can really see the ball. The other two were taken yesterday afternoon when the sun was out. The picture of her taken on the home screen of the website is an older photo that I took with my phone. She must love that powder... she really gobbles up her food now. Chloe is eating well too and she is getting lots of love.

**I'm not sure why but I have a thing for really up close shots of dogs' faces and noses (I didn't get any of those of Jay) and also their back legs (hence the hind end photo.) Perhaps the back leg thing is: I have labs. As they age, they usually develop arthritis and they lose the stability in their back legs. I love a dog's back legs that look strong and sturdy. It is something I don't take for granted. I think that's why. :)

Lesson Learned #49 by this pet sitter

I usually wear my glasses instead of my contacts to my early morning round of visits.  What I learned this morning:  it is easier to take pictures when I have my contacts in.  I ended up taking off my glasses for the photos of Jay and Chloe this morning!

Chloe Jay playing Jay So.... Jay and Chloe are the only kids I'm seeing this weekend.  2 pets + new camera = extra visit time at your house!  I need to figure out how to change the size of my photos on the blog but I have a photo shoot in an hour so I'm doing this quickly.  We had storms last night before and after my 9pm visit.  It rained overnight but wasn't raining this morning.  I've been giving Jay the powder over her food and I've added warm water to it too.  Chloe is great too.  (It was dark outside and I've not edited these photos at all, just posting.  Fun was had by all!)

Pet Photography

See Spot Run has lots of exciting news.  First of all, the website will be changing in the next month or so.  I'm excited for the change.  Secondly, See Spot Run is opening a new division: photography.  Have you always wanted photos of your pet?  Now your pet sitter (me!) is offering pet photography.  I'm soooo excited!  More details to come!!
