photos on my blog

I met with my website developer yesterday and I asked her about the photos on my blog. I am trying to figure out how to add photos to posts in different layouts on the blog. I am practicing. It is working but I don't know what to do about the photos covering up the menu to the right. I am stumped and the blog doesn't look great at the top but if you scroll further down the page, I do like the way the photos look when they are side by side. It appears if I write enough text, then the photos don't cover up the menu but some of my blog posts aren't going to be that long. I wonder why the right side margin is different for the text and the photos.

Pictured here are Sloan and Moose. Sloan's mom was a weimeraner. I think Moose has hound in him too.... he acts like it! He reminds me of Sloan all the time not only because he is chocolate but their personalities are similar too. Wild, busy, and lap dog are all words I'd use to describe both of them.

See Spot Run Pet Photography takes on the changing fall colors

Here are some photos of the fall colors changing in my yard. I love taking pictures and I am enjoying every chance I get to do it and this time these aren't photos of any furry ones. I think my most favorite is the close up of the leaves. What are your favorite fall colors? This year mine is yellow because of this tree but I do love a deep red and orange too.

an update on Moose, our latest rescued dog

pet photography On October 2nd, we added another rescued dog to our family and we're calling him Moose. I have vet records on him that say he is 7. He acts like he is 4 and I am convinced he is part hound dog. His nose gets him into trouble a lot. I found the remains of 2 banana peels on the floor two days ago. He was smart enough to not eat the stems. There was absolutely no trace of any bananas and I found most of the peel but I do think he ate some. He loves his walks and he knows to sit when we come to an intersection or anytime we are crossing the street. He'll sit for a long time too - until I say "let's go" he'll just sit and look around. He really is a good dog. I wanted a lap dog and I definitely have one now. He is pretty good at staying too unless it is meal time. We are still working on improving those manners. He's a great dog and we are so happy we rescued him.

Pet Photography

As many of you know, I just started a pet photography division. I am surprised at how much I love taking photos of my client's pets. Here is another new favorite. I love that you can see the white mark on Delilah's chest and I love the way the colors in the background look. If you've thought about considering pet photography and having photos taken of your pet, contact me or check out the photography page on the website. Pet photography gifts would be great for holiday presents and gift certificates are available too. I'm offering introductory rates right now.Miss Delilah: 058

Jay and Chloe - they are both great. It's been dark every visit so far so no new pictures. I hope to take some this afternoon!

Simba - I love the way he prances when we are outside and his tail just wags! He is such a sweet ole man!
