Turk - here are Wesley's notes from her visits: I arrived alone for my first visit last night and Turk was very excited to see me but he listened nicely to my commands. We took a walk and two rabbits hopped under a street light and Turk was really at point, but he never pulled or tried to go for the rabbits. One of the rabbits was FROZEN solid as we passed. I think Turk had already worn off energy by the time we passed the scared bunnies. We played ball and Turk was so far out in the yard, he had high hopes I could throw the ball that far. Well, we must have hit 20 back and forth and then Turk must've lost the ball so I went out where I saw it bounce and used my flashlight but, could not find the ball. I plan to search for it in the morning with more light. He drank some more water and I refilled the inside water, gave him a milk bone and locked up.
dog walking on Sunday 3/4
SUNDAY AM
This morning Turk came right out when I opened the door and called him. I refreshed both water bowls. He ran around the yard first. I then fed him and he was ready for the walk. We went further this morning because I could see. :) He did his business twice this morning. Threw bags away in outside garbage cans. Collected mail from front door, put it on the table with the note. Could not find the ball we were throwing last night, but I did find another ball we played with after our walk. I gave him a treat before I left.
Gibby and Harley - they are just great. There were about 10 deer just a few doors down from you this morning when I got there. Harley went tearing out the back door... I wonder if he knew they were out there. Gibby ate his breakfast and "pill" this morning and Harley ate most of his breakfast.
