Tiger Lily - She greeted me as soon as I opened the door and she was really talking to me too. Truth be told, I think she was asking me to open the door so she could get out. I pet her and gave her lots of attention and then I grabbed the syringe. I thought she might take off as soon as she saw it or smelled it but she didn't. However as soon as I tried to give it to her, she backed away. I tried a few more times and then she'd had enough. She ran under the bed. I didn't want to scare her (by lifting up the bed) so I thought I'd leave the room for a few minutes and see if she'd come out when I came back in. That worked! I pet her some more and instead of trying to grab the back of her neck, as I was petting her and she was rubbing up against the wall, I stuck it in her mouth. She didn't like it at all but I got it in. I'm sure I did by the way she was "licking" afterwards. Then she ran back under the bed. I got her to come out and that's when I snapped the picture. I would say our first visit and getting the medicine in her was a success!! Yea!!
