Sib & Huski - they are both doing fine. I was greeted when I opened the door by Sib and Huski got up to say hello too. I went to take them for a walk and we got about 1/3 way down the driveway and Huski fell over. She ended up laying on her side and stayed that way for several minutes. I'm guessing her back leg gave away but I don't know for certain. I stood beside her and just talked to her. She didn't seem stressed out at all but she wasn't trying to get up. Sib of course was ready to go for his walk but that was all the further we went. I got a towel out of my car to put under her to help her up once she was ready. Within a few minutes, she was trying to roll onto her tummy. She did get up and I took them back inside.
I know she wants to go for walks but given that experience, I'm not comfortable walking her. If that would've happened in the street, we would've been in trouble. I hope that is okay. I'll just spend some time hanging out with them. Perhaps if she seems okay, I will walk them up and down the driveway. I did give both of them their treats before I left which they enjoyed!
George & Alex - well... look at who I got to see today! Alex is still wearing his cone but I'm guessing hasn't missed a step and George was the same ole cuddle bug as always!
Max & Genny - I let them out to pee and then they both came in to eat their breakfast. Afterwards, Max went outside for awhile but then he was ready to go inside. Genny stayed outside the entire visit! Not surprising!!
Sam & Riley - the boys have bones now. They seemed happy when I left although Sam looked like he was going to try to protect it! He actually growled at me during the visit. Riley was outside, he was laying down inside so I was going to go over and pet him. I'm guessing he didn't want me too (I'd not given him the bone yet.) I'm not sure what was up with that behavior!
Allie & Tilly - they continue to make Shannon laugh! After Allie ate her supper last night and played a bit in the front yard, they went around back to pick up where they left off with the last game of ball. She threw the ball and out of nowhere comes Tilly and POUNCES! She wins!!!
