Lincoln - he is eating his rice still :) He had diarrhea again this morning though.  Poor guy I feel badly for him but he seems to be pretty happy.  He definitely is looking forward to being fed.  I've been loving on him too. Scout - he was sleeping in the chair when I came in this morning.  Last night he was on his bed.  I love his bed!  He ate all his food overnight too.

Ursa - she'll be excited to see you when you get home!  She's been great!!

Lincoln and I hung out in the yard this morning. Lincoln - He seems to be just fine.  He is eating the rice.  He really likes it and gobbles it up every visit.  That makes me feel good but eating just rice isn't going to give him enough nutrients.  The more I've thought about the recommendation that you got for the food with the corn and by products bothers me.  I can't imagine that corn is good for a dog with diarrhea.  I'm not a vet but that just doesn't make sense to me.  I know you mentioned you didn't like the ingredients in the food - just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth.  He did have diarrhea yesterday but this morning, it was soft, not totally diarrhea.

Ursa enjoying the cooler morning temps.

Ursa - She has been getting a lot of love and I'm coming home with her fur! :)  She loves it and that makes me happy!!  My dogs have really been sniffing me too.

Lincoln - he is eating. :)  He is eating all the rice I'm giving him and last night he ate an entire meal of his dry food.  I will continue to give him rice (I made him some more this morning.)  He does still have diarrhea though. Ursa - She is doing just fine.  She is enjoying her meals, I've been giving her her medication and we've played some too.

Lincoln - thanks for the phone call.  I'll update you later on how he is doing. Scout - the last few visits he has been sleeping in the chair when I walk in.  I would love to get a picture of him in it.  It is like it was made for him!  Oversized!!

Molly - she is loving mealtime and her treats. I've been giving her apples and sweet potato treats.

Ursa - she was sleeping in this morning.  When I came in the door, I heard her get up.  I fed her and then switched the sprinklers around.

Scout - I've been leashing him up and taking him out front and then we walk around to the backyard.  He has enjoyed laying down in the front yard and just taking it all in. Lincoln - He ate a little bit overnight.  He peed and pooped this morning and his poo was very soft (not runny diarrhea but I'd call it diarrhea.)  He hasn't eaten very much so I hate that it is so soft.

Molly - she has walked a little bit, we've hung out in the yard and we've been playing too!  She's enjoying her apple treats too.

Ursa - She met me at the door and after I fed her we went out back so I could turn on the sprinklers.

It is easier for me to post pictures to the See Spot Run facebook page - I can do it directly from my phone.  If you're on facebook, like the See Spot Run page and you can view the pictures.  I posted a few last night.  To post pictures to this blog, I have to upload them into a photo sharing site (I use photobucket.com) and then I can post them here.  It's an extra step and difficult to do on my phone so I use the facebook page too for posting pictures. Last night I came up with a theory:  yellow dogs like to roll around in the grass on their backs.  On the See Spot Run facebook page, I posted a video of a golden named Sam earlier this week, rolling around to cool off.  Last night, this happened: :)

Scout loves a good roll around in the grass

Scout - I leashed him up and took him out front.  He peed and then we walked around to the backyard and I let him off leash.  We walked around to the front yard and he laid down and then decided to roll around on his back.  He did it several times.  Silly guy!

Lincolns versionl of rolling around on his back in the grass!

Lincoln - I left Scout's house and went to see Lincoln.  I let him out back and he peed, pooped and then he decided to roll around in the grass too.  I had to laugh!  It was getting dark so the lighting in the picture isn't great.  Lincoln hadn't eaten anymore overnight but he did eat right when I got to your house.  I gave him his meds this morning - the peanut butter is definitely working!

Molly - Of all the dogs I'm seeing right now, Molly loves meal time the most!  I fed her dinner and breakfast and this morning before I left, I gave her a sweet potato treat.  I used the kitchen scissors to cut them - they are huge!

Simba - He is doing great.  Fingers crossed - no accidents!  Yesterday late morning, I went for a run so I decided to swing by and let Simba out on my way back.  It was hot and humid so I peaked in the garage fridge and grabbed a bottled water.  I am planning on replacing it and I have a bottle in my car to put in there but I keep forgetting!
