Chester and Bailey - We just went out back last night when I got there and then this morning I took them for a walk after breakfast.  They are doing just great!

Jay and Chloe - I didn't think to take a picture of Jay yesterday in the daylight and this morning it was too dark outside.  I snapped the picture of Chloe while Jay was outside.  We played some and they've both been eating well.

Holly H - She was out all day yesterday and I put her inside overnight.  This morning it was early (6-ish) and chilly so I put her back inside (she followed me in the house so I think she wanted to be in.)  I will head over mid-morning and put her outside.

Holly G - I tried to take a picture of Holly this morning but it was too dark.  After breakfast we took a long walk.  Last night we went on a short walk so she could take care of all of her business.

Chester and Bailey - They are doing great.  I can really see a difference with Chester on the new medication! YAY!!  It was raining yesterday for the dinner and pm visit.  This morning it has stopped.  I did see your daughter last night... scared her as she was coming in the house with the dogs from the backyard and I walked into the den.

Hank and Lula Belle - Poor Hank probably wishes that Lula ate slower.  I managed to keep her occupied while he finished eating.  I tossed a few treats into the den and she'd go chasing after them so she got some exercise too! :)

Chloe - We took a longer walk this morning to make up for all the rain yesterday.  I'd left her in the house after the midday visit too b/c of the rain.

Simba - He didn't seem to mind the rain so much and it was coming down last night while I was there.  He took care of all of his business and he we took a longer walk this morning (yay... it has stopped raining.)

Chloe - I left this on the note at your house:  she is so "wiggly" when I come into your house.  I love it!  She was smiling this morning too.  We had a nice walk.  She enjoyed doing lots of sniffing (hence the picture!).

Simba - He seemed to really be enjoying his walk this morning so we took a little longer one.  Yesterday, I split the time walking and playing inside the house.  He loves meal time too and I've been giving him his pill at breakfast.

Hank and Lula Belle - Maybe I've figured something out??  When I came in yesterday, they were still stand-offish with me.  This morning when I walked in, I stopped and stood in the laundry room.  They both approached me.  :)  That is progress.  So when I was in the kitchen and even while they were eating, they both (especially Hank) seemed to be okay with having me around.  YAY!!  I fed them (and gave them treats, Lula really started "talking" to me when I got the treats out!) and I scooped their box.

Chester and Bailey - update tomorrow am since I won't see them til noon-ish today.

the dog walker on Sunday 9/1

Sunny, Louis, and Lola - Lola must've had an upset stomach overnight b/c she was up a lot.  It wasn't until we walked this morning that she threw up just a little bit of yellow bile.  I am headed over there early (as soon as I finish this post) and I'll check on her.  I'm sure she is fine but I will keep an eye on her.  She did pee and poop this morning on the walk and it was normal. Sweetie - she is enjoying her walks and is eating much better than that first night.  She was gobbling down her breakfast when I left this morning.

Scout - We've been going outside right when I get there, then back in so I can take care of the patient and then back outside again before I leave.  He is such a good guy even when taking pills in pill pockets that he doesn't like.  I wish he would just swallow instead of trying to chew! :)  Those pills can't taste good.

Darby - he'd eaten almost all of the wet food overnight and he'd eaten some dry too.  He ate a little bit of wet this morning.  Not as much as he usually does but since he'd eaten almost a 1/2 can overnight, I wasn't concerned.

Lula and Hank - they are still enjoying meal time and I think they've figured out now that I am feeding them.  No hissing at me this morning. :)  LOL!

Madison and Murphy - I know you get this but I have to be really careful not to trip over them b/c they are truly under foot when I'm carrying their plates of food!

Chester and Bailey - they are doing well.  I didn't walk them yesterday at dinnertime.  It was really hot and muggy.  We hung out in the yard and I fed them.  Shannon has been giving Chester his meds too.

the pet sitter on Saturday 8/31

Sweetie - I was a little concerned b/c Sweetie hadn't eaten much of her dinner Thursday night and she didn't eat her breakfast Friday morning.  She did want to eat grass.  Friday afternoon though when I got there, she'd eaten and she ate last night and now this morning too.  So, I think she is fine now.  She is enjoying her walks too!

Hank and Lula Belle - I have the routine down after last nights visit and now this morning.  I come in, they hiss, I feed them and then they are fine with me. :)  Lula is circling the island as I get her food ready too.  Silly cats!!

Scout - I've been giving him all his meds per your note.  Thanks so much for leaving all the specifics the way you did.  That is helpful!  He is being an excellent patient. :)  He'd eaten all of his dinner from last night.

Madison and Murphy - they were happy to see me last night (although I forgot to take their picture :( )  It was about 4:15pm so they were extremely happy to eat dinner early!

Lola, Sunny, and Louis - they are doing just fine.  We've been taking our walks and we spent some time in the backyard yesterday too.   They are all eating well.... Lola of course!  She does love that chicken!

Darby - all of his wet food had been eaten and he'd eaten some of his dry too when I got there this morning.  (It was right at 7:30am when I got there so earlier than I thought.)  He ate his wet food while I was there too.

Jay and Chloe - last night if Jay could talk she would've said, I am really happy that my pet sitter has the flashlight app on her phone!  Jay's ball went under the deck and the only way I found it was by using my flashlight app.  I've been giving each of them some wet food with each meal, they love it!
