Buddy and Sam
Buddy and Sam - They are enjoying this nice spring-like weather that we are having in February! This picture is so typical of when we are outside. Sam is laying at the top of the stairs looking out, probably wishing he was down in the yard wandering around. Buddy is laying looking towards the house, and would bolt for door as soon as it opened. I think Buddy strongly prefers to be inside the house! As you can see, when he is outside, he prefers to have his "pillow" outside with him. He won't lay down on the deck unless he has something to lay on. If I don't bring his pillow outside, he lays on the doormat. Silly, spoiled dog!
Traditional Chinese Medicine for Dogs
Yesterday Buddy and I went to Atrium Animal Hospital and I was shown how to do Tui-Na techniques on him to help alleviate any pain he has because of arthritis. I loved it and I think Buddy did too. We are hoping that this daily massage will eliminate the need for Buddy to be on any type of pain medication. I will keep you posted on how he is doing and if anyone wants any information about it, please let me know.
Happy Anniversary Buddy!
Two years ago today we adopted Buddy, aka The Budster. Buddy loves sprawling out on the couch and on the bed in my office and curling up on his blanket on his "pillow" at night. He loves to be pet and once in awhile, if we're lucky he gives us a kiss.

I said goodbye to Sloan 2 years ago today. I still miss her and love her like crazy. I can't believe it has been 2 years.
Cushings Disease
Has anyone had a pet with Cushings Disease? Sam was just diagnosed and I don't know much about it other than what I'm reading online. He's going for an ultrasound on Wednesday to determine if his is abdominal based or pituitary based. Neither sounds very promising. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
