At the age of 10, Bosco was adopted by someone I know because I'd heard that he needed a new home. I let my friend know about him so she adopted him. Little did we know that Bosco was a sick kitty. About 3 weeks ago he was diagnosed with diabetes and he's since been getting insulin injections 2x/day. Unfortunately on Friday he suddenly became very lethargic and he stopped eating. He was taken to the vet on Saturday and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The vet said the outcome was not good so Bosco's suffering ended yesterday. Bless his little heart, he is in a better place. He was the first kitty that I pet sat for that would follow me as I walked his dog-sister. We'd be out walking and 10-20 yards behind, Bosco would be following us. Thanks Bosco for the cute memory of you!
God bless the 30 US troops and the dog that were killed in Afghanistan when their helicopter was shot down over the weekend. I just finished reading "The Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell for my book club. I don't think I've ever read a book that made me feel so many different emotions. I highly recommend it. Every American should read it.
Rest in Peace Dakota
Dakota - I read a quote recently that said a dog's only fault is that he doesn't live long enough. Dakota was only 8... that just isn't long enough. You will be missed Dakota.
Huski
Rest in peace sweet girl. Even though Huski couldn't walk very well, she still loved taking the occasional stroll up and down her street. I recently learned that she passed away.
Max S
Dear sweet little Max lived to be 18. I saw him 5 days / week for over a year. I'll really miss the little guy. Rest in peace Max. You were really loved by your family and I'm sure you'll be in their hearts forever.
