pet sitting on Mon 7/5

Maisy & Gracie - Maisy and I have definitely turned a corner and I'm so excited.  She comes right up to me, she let me pet her for a long time too.  She just sat down and let me rub on her neck.  When I stopped she looked at me, "why'd you stop?"  We played a little bit on the deck and then she and Gracie played some too.  I can't tell you how excited I am! Scoobie - Scoobie is adjusting to me too.  I think he's excited to see me when I come in.  He doesn't shy away from me like he did.  Sometimes getting the leash on him can take a few minutes still.  He is eating well too but he obviously like his wet food better than the dry.  I try to mix it up really well. :)

Jackson - Jackson ate all of his food last night.  Earlier yesterday, it seemed like most of it was on the rug but now this morning, he'd eaten all of it.  I guess he was hungry!!  Perhaps with all that running around the yard he worked up an appetite.

Chester and  Bailey - Poor Chester.  He didn't like the fireworks last night.  I did get him outside to pee but then he was immediately ready to come in the house.  I could tell he was scared.  Bailey peed too but she came inside with us when we went!  I almost turned the tv on to try and drown out the noise but I didn't.

Hanna - I threw her toy for her a few times last night but after a few firecrackers were set off she was ready to come inside.  I sat down in the chair and she hopped up there with me.  I read for awhile to keep her company.

Chipper - Chipper didn't seem bothered by the fireworks at all!  Funny how some dogs are and some aren't.  Most of my doggie clients wanted to be inside it seemed like.

Jay & Chloe - I threw the ball for Jay then I fed them both.
