Dog Walking on Monday 6/28

Baileys favorite game: ball Chester cooling off in the a/c

Chester & Bailey - I took "the monsters" for a short walk to the end of the street and back.  Everybody peed and pooped.  Bailey was ready for me to throw the ball for her when we got back.... Chester stayed in the house in the a/c.  Surprised?  Not!!  2nd visit:  they had dinner and then we went for another walk.

8 month old Lucy is too cute and too sweet for words!

Lucy - She was very patriotic today... I wish I covered captured this moment in a photo.  She stood staring at the flag waving in the wind in front of the school.  It looked like she was standing at attention.  Too, too cute!  2nd walk:  she walked more, not as much stopping.  There was a crew of men doing street work this morning - maybe that is why she kept turning around.  They were gone this afternoon.  She does seemed to get scared easily so maybe that was the problem this morning!  She got pretty frightened by a kid trying to fly a kite this afternoon.  I'll try to work on her confidence some while I'm walking her.

Homer & Easter - Homer greeted me at the door and Easter sounded ready to get out of her crate.  :)  I fed them dinner and then I did leave them outside when I left.

Jackson & Quigley - the boys!

Jackson & Quigley - They are definitely in the running for fastest eaters out of all of my dog clients!   Wow - you weren't kidding.  On the walk, Quigley actually pulled more than Jackson.  I was really trying to keep on one side of me, walking at a heel and not pulling.  I wasn't all that successful.  I would recommend different collars - these collars are really pressing on their laranyx when then walk which could cause damage.  We didn't walk all that far, just around the complex.  I think the more they walk with me, the more they'll understand what I want from them.  Amazingly, Jackson did pretty well. :)
