Lesson #4 What I've learned in 3 months of pet sitting that no one told me:

1. Carry a shovel in your car.  It will come in handy.
2. Always, always get your client's security system password.
3. Always carry more poop bags with you than you think you will need.
4. Dogs that run always poop, sometimes twice.
5. It is hard going on the last pet sitting visit and saying goodbye to pets that I've sat for while their parents are on vacation.  I don't know if I'll see them again.  It's particularly hard with the older ones.
