Dog Walking with Allie and Cat Sitting with Tilly & my 2nd Lesson Learned

(1st lesson learned mentioned in previous post:  Allie will pull on the leash.  Allie is very strong.)  When I got to your house tonight, I opened the door to let Allie out.  Well, Allie just stood there staring at me.  Then she got excited and did a little dance and I figured out that she didn't want to go outside, she wanted to eat.  So I fed her and went and played with Tilly.  (Tilly actually met me at the door with Allie...  I'm not sure how she got in there.  I'll know to look for her tomorrow.  When I left tonight, I did separate them.)  So I guess really my 2nd lesson learned was that Allie likes her dinner.  I gave her 1.5 pills too. Then, my 3rd lesson learned would be that Allie likes the water puddles.  It rained hard for a couple of hours late afternoon / early evening and I should know better than to wear canvas tennis shoes when it has rained.  Always wear leather tennis shoes.  Well, it's a good thing we weren't going on a long hike b/c my feet would've been wet.

Allie did well on the leash tonight.  She did want to walk through the puddles and twice she wanted to lay down on her back and just roll around in the grass.  I'm assuming she does this..... must feel good.

I played with Tilly while Allie ate.  She really was craving my attention.  I gave her a litte more food - she still had some in her bowl and I gave her some fresh water.  I cleaned out her litter box too.  Everytime I picked her up she really purred.  I think she really misses you.
